As our HVAC Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating with our team of skilled technicians to ensure they arrive at each job on time, equipped with the right tools and parts to get the job done right the first time. You’ll be the hub of our operation, and the glue that keeps our team running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming service calls from customers and scheduling appointments
- Dispatching technicians to job sites
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure parts and equipment are available when needed
- Monitoring technicians’ progress and ensuring they arrive at each job on time
- Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed accurately
- Keeping customers informed of the status of their service appointments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in HVAC dispatching or a similar field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs

HVAC Technician

HVAC technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial properties. The specific job responsibilities of an HVAC technician include the following:
HVAC technicians should have a technical background and experience with HVAC systems, be able to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments, and have the ability to work independently and with a team. Additionally, they may require a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. In some cases, HVAC technicians may also be responsible for sales and customer service and may be required to give estimates for repairs and installations.
- Installing new HVAC systems, including running ductwork and connecting electrical and gas lines.
- Maintaining and repairing existing HVAC systems, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Providing customer service, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and explaining the repair process.
- Keeping accurate records of all work performed, including the parts and tools used, and documenting the equipment’s condition before and after repairs.
- Staying current with the latest industry developments and technological advancements, including new equipment and repair techniques.
- Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines, including following proper procedures for handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
- Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Staying up-to-date with local codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining various HVAC equipment such as boilers, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
- Scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance visits with customers.

The lead installer will also have to have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, be able to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments, and have the ability to work independently and with a team.
- Planning and coordinating the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of HVAC systems.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment such as boilers, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC systems.
- Communicating with customers to explain the installation process and answer any questions they may have.
- Training and supervising junior HVAC installers.
- Keeping accurate records of all work performed, including the parts and tools used.
- Staying current with the latest industry developments and advancements in technology.
